It’s just about time for bar exam results to be announced in several large jurisdictions. If you took the Feb 2012 bar exam and are waiting to learn your results, this can be a very hard time emotionally.

I know it sounds weird, but by doing routine things in a different way (like putting the milk in the bowl BEFORE the cereal) it appears that you can stimulate your brain to more creative problem solving. We tend to think of any distractions from study as a “bad” thing, but in fact, there can be real intrinsic value in distracting our brains for a short while and then returning to the task.
